This store is run by OY LABS LTD ("we"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17267898, at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Your details: name, email address and phone number, to deliver your order and contact you about it.
• Your child's details: first name, age, girl or boy, and the photo you upload. They are used only to write and draw your child's book.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Your membership: your plan, renewal date and which stories you have unlocked.
• Usage: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, which the site needs to work.
• Advertising and measurement: only if you accept in the cookie banner, the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API record steps such as viewing the page, starting a preview and paying, so we can measure our ads. We never send Meta your child's name, age or photo. You can change your choice at any time.

Your child's photo

The photo is used only to draw your child's character. It is never shown to anyone else and never published. We delete it as soon as the character has been drawn. If drawing doesn't finish, it is deleted automatically within 30 days.

We keep the drawn character and a short written description of how your child looks, so that every future story shows the same child without a new photo. We also keep the finished books so you can read and download them again. You can ask us to delete all of this at any time.

Who helps us

• Google (Gemini): draws the illustrations from the photo and the story.
• Stripe: takes payments.
• ElevenLabs: only if you buy an audio version, it reads the book's words aloud.
• Meta: only if you accept advertising cookies, as described above.
• Amazon Web Services: hosts the site and stores the books.
• Our email provider: sends sign-in links, download links, and a message when a new story credit arrives.

Each receives only what it needs for that job.

How long we keep things

Photos: deleted once drawn, 30 days at most. Drawn characters and books: while you have an account with us, including after you cancel a membership, until you ask us to delete them. Order and payment records: as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to send you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, characters and books. Write to us from the Contact page. You can turn off story emails from the link in each one. Only a parent or legal guardian may upload a child's photo, and our service is for adults, not children.

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date below.
