Terms of sale

These terms apply to every purchase from Najm Story Club, which is run by OY LABS LTD ("we").

What you buy

A personalised picture book about your child in English and Arabic, delivered in your online library and as a digital file (PDF), plus any add-ons you choose (for example a colouring book or an audio story). You can buy one book, or join Story Club.

Free preview

You can see the cover and first pages before paying, with one free preview per family. The preview is shown on the site only.

Story Club

Story Club costs $4.99 a month, or $39 a year if you choose yearly. It includes the book you previewed and 1 story credit a week.

• Credits: one credit unlocks one story of your choice from the library. A book is drawn when you use the credit.
• Saved credits: unused credits stay in your account while your membership is active, up to 8. No new credits are added while you hold 8.
• Extra books: members can buy an extra book for $3.99, charged to the saved card.
• One child: a membership covers one child and that child's chosen drawing style.
• Credits have no cash value. They can't be transferred, and they end when the membership ends.

Renewal and cancelling

Your membership renews automatically each month or year, and we charge the saved card until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, in two steps. Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep your membership until the end of the paid period, then remaining credits end. Books you have already unlocked stay in your library, and you can still download them. We will email you before a yearly renewal, and before any price change, so you can cancel first. If a payment fails, we will try again and tell you. If it still fails, your membership ends.

Your right to change your mind

If you live in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made online. Because your book is digital and made for you straight away, at checkout we ask you to agree that it starts immediately and that you lose this right once it has been delivered. If nothing has been delivered yet, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund.

Illustrations made with AI

Pictures are drawn by an artificial-intelligence model from your child's photo and the story. Each book is unique, and the likeness, poses and details can vary from page to page.

Changes to a book

After buying, you can redraw up to 3 pages of each book, and we will correct the spelling of your child's name for free. The story's words can't be edited, because each story's two languages are written and checked together.

Your photo and your rights

Only upload a photo of a child you are the parent or legal guardian of, or have their permission to use. Don't upload anything unlawful or anyone else's private images.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include any taxes we must charge. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order.

Delivery

Books are usually ready within minutes. We email you the link, and your books stay in your library to read and download again.

Using your book

The book is for your family's personal, non-commercial use. You may print copies for yourself and family members. You may not resell it.

Refunds

See our Returns page.

Our responsibility

We make every book with care. If something goes wrong on our side, we will fix the book or refund you. Our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you keep every protection your local consumer law gives you, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
